Terrie's 10th Anniversary: This is the director's 10th year with the chorus. Consider supporting the chorus by sending $10 to be used toward the general funds.
General Funds: As our chorus continues to grow and expand our outreach to the community, so does our operating budget. Ticket sales and tuition generally do not cover these expenses and we rely on other means. Donations of any amount are welcome.
Community Events - Specifically for Seniors, and Others: Part of our mission to the community of Tucson is to provide concerts for senior communities. Many of these places have little budgeted for entertainment. As there are costs associated with putting on a performance, we would like to provide these concerts free to them. You may support this venture by sponsoring a senior community concert for $300. If you would indicate the location, or not, we would be happy to list your name in our programs next to the location you sponsored.
Rising Stair: Buy a riser. The ladies stand on handmade specially designed "risers" (stools) which provide plenty of support and balance for proper singing and flexibility for staging. Purchase a riser and dedicate it to a loved one, chorus member, yourself... $80 for a single; $125 for a double, we will afix a brass name plate with up to 50 letters.
Leann Rich Memorial Scholarship: Leann was a member of the chorus for three years. She died suddenly on February 22, 2007. She was treasurer during our "Carnegie" year, having to deal with raffle donations and Carnegie donations. She was known to pay for other members tuition and Carnegie trip out of her own financial resources and supported our desire to offer scholarships for tuition or other chorus member needs. If you wish to donate to the scholarship fund, please make checks payable to SAWC, indicate in the memo of your check that it is for the scholarship fund. Annual tuition for a member is $150.

Winter Concert 2008 A Jazz Noel with Kirby Shaw and the Southern Arizona Women's Chorus
Tickets are $15, children 6 and under free. Groups of 10 or more can get a discounted rate by calling 404.3148. Dates are Saturday, December 13, 7:00p.m. at Ironwood Ridge High School and Sunday, December 14, 3:00p.m. at University of Arizona Crowder Hall. Tickets available through Southern Arizona Women's Chorus (address and telephone number listed on the left).
